RESTORING WHAT IS BROKEN
Scripture reminds us in Joel 2:25, “I will restore unto thee the years, even the runnels of time,” that God is dedicated to healing and renewing what has been lost or broken in our lives. Just as He promised restoration to His people in the Bible, we see countless examples of healing and reconciliation through Jesus—when He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and restored the brokenhearted, demonstrating that no wound is too deep for His touch. In our own lives, there may be broken relationships, lingering pain, or past mistakes that continue to weigh us down. Take a moment to reflect on those areas where healing is needed, and consider making a conscious decision today to seek reconciliation—whether by offering forgiveness to those who have hurt you or by reaching out to mend a relationship that has been fractured. Like a shattered vase that has been carefully mended, the scars of our past can become beautiful testimonies of transformation and hope, each mark telling a story of God’s redemptive work.
When we open our hearts to God’s healing, we begin to see every broken piece as an opportunity for growth and renewal. His promise assures us that no matter how deep our wounds may be, His restorative power is greater than our pain. As we walk through the process of healing, we learn that every tear and scar is transformed into a mark of divine grace. This journey of restoration may not be immediate, but it is certain, as God continually works to bring wholeness where there was once despair. Ultimately, embracing His restoration allows us to become living testimonies of His redemptive power, inspiring others to seek the hope and healing found in Him. Email me if I can help with a Healing Prayer I’ll send you.
Imagine the painstaking process of restoring a cherished piece of art: every crack and chip is carefully repaired until the piece is whole again, yet it carries the unique beauty of its history. In the same way, God’s healing transforms our brokenness into something extraordinary—a living masterpiece that reflects His grace and power.
Prayer: “Dear God, I thank You for Your promise to restore what is broken in my life. Help me to forgive where I have been hurt and to mend the relationships that have suffered. May Your healing touch transform my scars into testimonies of Your grace. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
