Colossians 1:18, “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

It is important to understand the steps that God takes in heading up the universe.

He does have a procedure in the way that He heads it up.

His first step was to make Jesus, as the God-Man, both Lord and Christ.

That step has already been accomplished.

His second step is now to head up His Body by heading up each individual member.

So when we experience Christ in our practical daily life, we are not just becoming more spiritual for our own sake; but we are becoming more a part of the administration of the universe.

When God’s administration and kingdom actually comes in us as Christ’s members, Satan’s rule and the flesh are terminated, and God’s kingdom has advanced one step further in the universe.

When Jesus is Lord in me, He has become Lord in one more member of His Body.

Thus, the more practical a position He obtains on this earth in and through His members, the more He becomes the Head of the Body in reality, and the more God’s administration is manifested in the universe.

Ladies, have you ever considered that taking care of your children in spirit is part of God’s administration in the universe?

Things in our lives may seem mundane at times, and apparently unimportant.

As a mother you may not regard your daily life as being important.

But when you see this vision of Christ and the church, and of God’s administration in this universe through the vehicle of the church, then your experience of the Lord with your children becomes something of major consequence.

Loving them, caring for them, nurturing them, bringing them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, and being exercised in your spirit to follow the Lord in your daily schedule is all part of God’s administration of this universe.

This is because when He heads you up, He is heading up a member of the Body of Christ; and this is part of His procedure in the heading up of the universe.
