2 Corinthians 13:3, “Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.”
The consciousness of Christ being our center and point of reference will continue to spread in our daily life.
For example, you will find it in your speaking.
You say something, but in your saying it, you feel as though you have put on a suit of clothes that does not fit, that does not feel right.
As you are criticizing and gossiping, you are going to inwardly feel, “O Lord, this language does not fit. Lord, Youare my talk. You are my speaking. I used to speak so freely. But Lord, Amen.”
By contacting Him and experiencing Him in this way, you begin to feel the restraint in your words.
Christ is becoming your talking.
Little by little, the Holy Spirit will begin to make Christ real in your speaking.
You may fail, but you experience Christ in your failure.
You touch the living One, because your point of reference has changed.
You can no longer rearrange your thoughts, thinking “I shouldn’t talk that way anymore.”
Nor can you replace bad thoughts with good thoughts.
That does not work.
You have to interact with God.
You have to touch the Spirit.
And when you touch the Spirit, you draw from Him and He changes you.
Then you come to a church service and you make the meeting Christ, because you have touch Him in your spirit.
You have touched Christ as your portion in your speaking.
