RISING UP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Nehemiah 2:18, “Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.”

Nehemiah faced the enormous challenge of rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls, a task that required not only physical labor but also spiritual resolve.

Despite the obstacles, Nehemiah’s confidence in God’s guidance inspired the people to join him in the work.

This story reminds us that when God calls us to a task, He also provides the strength and resources needed to accomplish it.

Just as Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem rose up to rebuild their city, we are called to rise up and contribute to God’s work in our own lives and communities.

Each of us has a unique role in God’s plan, and it’s important to recognize the significance of our contributions, no matter how small they may seem.

You might be called to reach out to a neighbor, volunteer in your community, stand firm in your faith at work or school, or serve in your church.

Whatever the task, remember that when you rise up to do God’s work, you are part of something much larger than yourself.

Your willingness to act can inspire others and make a lasting difference.

YOUR PARTICIPATION IN SUNDAY’S CHALLENGE IS A VOTE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR CHURCH & PASTOR. LET’S RISE UP & BUILD.

PRAYER

Father, I ask for the courage to rise up and make a difference for Your Kingdom. Strengthen my hands for the work You have set before me, and help me to trust that You are guiding me every step of the way. May my actions bring honor and glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

ASSIGNMENT

This week, actively seek out an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.

Whether it’s offering a kind word, lending a helping hand, or sharing your faith, take that step of action.

Trust that God will use your efforts, no matter how small, to advance His Kingdom.

Think of a single stone in the foundation of a building.

It might seem insignificant on its own, but without it, the structure wouldn’t stand.

Similarly, your actions, though they may seem small, are essential in building God’s Kingdom.

Every step you take in faith helps to lay the foundation for something greater, contributing to a lasting impact that reaches beyond what you can see.
