Daily Beats from your Pastor’s Heart!

I want to take the next few weeks for you to share what and how God is working or has worked in your life.

Many will be encouraged if you will share the miracle of God’s grace in your life.

We are borrowing Pastor’s hand to share our incredible story with you as you read this morning.

Last year this time I had finally accepted the heart-breaking fact that my marriage would end in divorce.

I felt a huge black cloud hovering over me and I couldn’t do anything to make it leave.

I knew that God was my answer, but I thought it was too late.

I had been a Christian for many years, but I never knew how to war in prayer against the unseen forces of evil that were stealing, killing, and destroying my home.

Then God laid it upon the hearts of the people of Belmont to begin praying and interceding for us.

I really was skeptical that anything would change my spouse’s mind.

The encouragement was much needed and greatly appreciated.

Because of that act of love, my heart was turned toward God and His promises just days before the dreaded day the divorce was to be final.

I really did not think that anything could change the inevitable.

I was reconciled to it being over.

But, oh, how faithful God is.

Believe me; He can make a way when there seems to be no way.

He revealed to me the power of prayer, the reality of warfare and how to fight the real enemy, Satan.

I had never heard any teaching on spiritual warfare.

I began to practice the lessons God was teaching me about prayer.

Others joined me in praying.

My spouse soon agreed to come for counseling with little expectation that it would help.

Then, God did a marvelous work in both our hearts.

He healed our hurt, reunited our home, and has given us the most wonderful marriage we could ever possibly dream of.

Please be encouraged today.

God will make a way for you just like He made a way for me.

I can confidently testify that even in my despair, God was with me all along.
