Thanks to everyone who made the Fall Festival such a great success. It does my heart good to see everyone working as a team and ministering to each other. Please pray for Brandon Black.  He twisted his knee when we were cleaning up after the Festival.

Beats From Your Pastor’s Heart:

Romans 8:13, “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

One thing is guaranteed when you apply the cross in your life–“you will live.” 

You cannot help but live. 

Everyone that applies the cross is a living saint. 

You cannot apply the cross and not be living. 

Resurrection life is spontaneous. 

When you touch the Lord and by the Spirit interrupt your murmurings, your reasonings–all the activity of your flesh–you keep your self in death, you keep your flesh in death, and resurrection life bursts forth spontaneously. 

You come to a church service and you have a testimony. 

You meet someone and you have the gospel. 

You talk with the saints and there is genuine fellowship. 

You are just a living person. 

This is how you can tell if you have applied the cross.

How living are you? 

If you are dead, if there is no supply, no life, it may be that inwardly you have not cooperated with the cross in your environment, you have not activated your spirit. 

Or you have allowed unclean thoughts to go by unchecked, undealt with, so that your inward parts are defiled and you are deadened. 

Thus, the way to know if you have applied the cross is simply by your livingness. 

You are fresh and living. 

You are alive with God. 

This is the way you can tell the cross is operating in you.
