YOUR “YES” TODAY COULD SHAPE ETERNITY

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”  Isaiah 6:8

  1. A Continuing Invitation
Just as Isaiah heard God’s call centuries ago, Heaven still echoes the same question: “Who will go for us?” That divine summons hasn’t faded with time—it rings out in our churches, neighborhoods, and workplaces every day.
  2. Ripple Effect of Obedience
When you surrender your plans and say “Here am I,” you become the starting point of a spiritual ripple. One simple act—joining a ministry team, offering a listening ear, or sharing your story—can spark faith in someone else. That person, in turn, impacts others, and before long your single “yes” has shaped a family legacy, strengthened a congregation, or even shifted the spiritual climate of a city.
  3. God Values Availability Over Ability
You don’t need a special degree or perfect circumstances to answer His call. God looks for hearts that are willing more than hands that are trained. Your availability—your willingness to step out in faith despite fear or insecurity—is the very vessel He uses to display His power and love.
  4. Identify Your “Yes”
Write down one thing you’ve felt God nudging you to do but kept postponing.
  5. Set a Small Step
Break it into a manageable first action: send a text, sign up online, or arrange a meeting.
  6. Enlist Accountability
Tell a trusted friend or mentor about your plan and ask them to check in with you this week.

Challenge:  Today, don’t wait for “someday”—say yes right now. Whether it’s inviting a coworker to church, volunteering in children’s ministry, or simply praying with a neighbor, seize the moment. Your obedience isn’t about perfection; it’s about availability.

Prayer:  Here I am, Lord.  I may not feel fully prepared, but I am willing.  Use my small “yes” to ignite Your purposes here on earth.  Let my willingness become the spark that kindles Your glory in this place. In Jesus Name, Amen.
