MAY THEME – CHURCH ALIVE: Living As His Body In A Broken World.
What God is doing in our church is nothing short of miraculous. He is taking faithful, devoted Christians—many of whom have walked with Jesus for years but were never taught these deep truths—and awakening them to a fresh understanding of what it truly means to be The Church Alive.
This is not just another message series. It is a Spirit-led movement—a divine shift. We are learning that the Church is not just a place we go, but a Body we belong to. We are being called to function, not just to fill a seat. To minister, not just to observe. To carry His heart into our homes, our communities, and beyond.
God is breathing life into His people. He’s reviving purpose, restoring identity, and calling each of us to walk in unity, power, and love. And best of all—this is just the beginning.

Beats From Your Pastor’s Heart
YOUR HIDDEN GIFT STILL HOLDS POWER
1 Corinthians 12:22 — “Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary.”
God’s value system is radically different from the world’s. While man applauds what’s flashy, visible, and celebrated, Heaven esteems the quiet, the faithful, and the unseen. In the Body of Christ, it’s often the parts we never notice that make the biggest difference.
Think of your physical body—your heart beats constantly, your lungs breathe silently, your kidneys cleanse unseen. Remove them, and life ceases. The same is true in the Church. Behind every sermon, every song, and every altar moment are hidden hands: those who intercede in prayer, care for children, set up chairs, clean floors, write notes, and quietly show up week after week.
If that’s you, be encouraged—God sees. You may feel invisible to people, but you are invaluable to the mission. Faithful obedience in obscurity is never wasted. In fact, it often carries more eternal weight than the public moments that get applause.
You don’t have to be on the pulpit to be powerful. You just have to be surrendered. Heaven keeps perfect records, and God rewards in ways the world never could.
Let this truth anchor your heart today: Your hidden gift still holds power.
Challenge:
Think of someone in our church who serves in the shadows—nursery workers, custodians, kitchen volunteers, prayer warriors, card writers, tech team members—and take a moment to sincerely thank them. Then ask the Lord: “How can I quietly strengthen Your Body this week?” Whether through intercession, encouragement, giving, or support, let your hidden obedience be holy fuel for His work.
Prayer: Father, teach me to value what You value. Help me to honor the parts of the Body that go unseen, and never despise the quiet roles You’ve entrusted to me. Whether I’m up front or behind the scenes, let me serve with joy and purpose. I give You my gift—public or private—for Your glory and the good of Your Church. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
