End The Old Year In Church This Sunday
Today, spend 15-20 minutes reflecting on the blessings and challenges of 2024. Write down 3 things you’re grateful for and 1 area where you’ve grown spiritually. Let this reflection motivate you to end the year in God’s presence at church this Sunday at 10:30 A.M.

THE RESURRECTION: VICTORY OVER DEATH
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” – Matthew 28:6
The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our Christian faith, proving His ultimate victory over sin, death, and the grave.
It wasn’t just an event in history; it was the turning point for all humanity.
By rising from the dead, Jesus conquered the power of death and secured eternal life for all who believe in Him.
His resurrection also affirms every promise He made and serves as a reminder that nothing can thwart God’s plans.
Because He lives, we have a Savior who is actively interceding for us and preparing a place for us in eternity.
The resurrection isn’t just a past event—it’s a present reality that empowers us to live with hope and purpose.
Let the knowledge of Jesus’ victory influence your perspective on life’s challenges.
When faced with struggles, remember that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and at work in you.
Live each day with the assurance of eternal life, and let that confidence shape your decisions, relationships, and priorities.
Choose joy in hardship, knowing that God has already secured the ultimate victory for you.
Imagine a defeated athlete who rises from a crushing loss to become stronger and more determined, proving that failure is not the end.
This transformation mirrors the resurrection of Jesus, who overcame the ultimate “loss” of death to bring life and victory to us all.
Just as the athlete finds strength in perseverance, we find unshakable hope in Jesus’ triumph over the grave.
His resurrection is our guarantee that no struggle, failure, or loss has the final say when we belong to Him.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for Your victorious resurrection and the hope it brings to my life. I praise You for conquering sin and death so that I may live with the assurance of eternal life. Fill me with the power of Your resurrection, and help me to face challenges with faith and courage. May my life reflect the joy and hope of knowing You are alive, interceding for me, and walking with me every step of the way. In Jesus Name, Amen.
ASSIGNMENT: Meditate on 1 Corinthians 15:20-22: “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” Write a personal reflection on what Jesus’ resurrection means to you and how it affects your daily perspective on life, hope, and struggles. Consider how you can live more fully in the power of the resurrection this week.
