Romans 6:5, “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:”
The crucified and resurrected Christ has joined us to Himself organically.
We are joined to His death and His resurrection.
In Galatians 2:20 Paul testified, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
This is the crucified and resurrected Christ that Paul was joined to and experienced.
So if we experience Christ, we experience Him as the crucified and resurrected Christ.
The Christ who was processed in incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension is living in us to process us.
That is, this Christ is now processing us with all the elements of His own process.
For example, He is processing us in crucifixion.
Not only were we terminated objectively on the cross two thousand years ago, but subjectively, day by day, we are being terminated.
Our whole being is now being processed in crucifixion.
That means our mind, our emotions, and our will–with all the practices of our body–are being processed day by day in crucifixion in order to be processed in resurrection.
Thus, our whole being is under a divine process of crucifixion and resurrection.
Because we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, we will also be in the likeness of His resurrection.
Our whole being is under the process of crucifixion and resurrection for the building of the church.
This is our destiny.
